Upon preparing for my arrival to New York City, I take the time to reflect back on the past three years that helped to form me into the person that I am today. Examining the first project which I completed during my first year as an MFA student at Howard University, I ponder upon what it means to be an "artist" amidst today's day and age, sparking an unforeseen desire to begin documenting my journey to becoming a master of my craft.

Having now made the jump from Washington, DC to Brooklyn, New York, I take the time to reflect upon the prevailing worries which remain prevalent amidst this transitionary period in my life. However, with all worries comes the supernatural hope that everything will be alright. A hope which, I believe, will justify my decision in the end.
